Were Ferrari and Red Bull so desperate.....for third in Mexico Grand Prix?

Now the race was too good and the verbal abuse between the drivers and the teams was so much that it reminded me of Juan Pablo Montoya. And if you are aware that the cockpit camera is so well positioned that the F*&k Y*@ in Italian hand gesture can be easily done.

All the pictures used in this blog do not belong to me. And I do not claim on its ownership
Now, what happened at the first corner that led to so much of fuss between these two, is very well known. I don't understand if you have gone off the track and the team has given orders to give the position to the car behind, why would you not want to give it?

If you are taking the advantage like in football, where the player can get away with the foul and not be seen by the referee. You are basically playing a cruel game with the race control.

Ricciardo third after Vettel penalised for erratic driving.

Vettel doing the Juan Pablo Montoya thing to Max Verstappen. And I think he was right to do it. And If you see the reaction Max had.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has been given a ten-second time penalty for driving 'dangerously or erratically' while defending the fourth place from Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in the closing stages of the race.

Don't you find it strange that Max was penalised immediately as he crossed the finish line and Vettel was not. But the race control found that he was driving dangerously after the race was over and not when he defended the fourth place hun??

I think the race control exercised the power just to get back at him for his Fuck Charlie comment.
And it is not a new thing for the driver to be caught swearing at the race officials.

This is Juan Pablo Montoya in his car doing whatever he is doing.

Was all the spat between the drivers in the race this weekend because of the Juan Pablo Montoya was the guest at the Mexican Grand Prix. Vodo.......Voooo.

  1. Ferrari and Red Bull are still fighting for second in the constructors championship. So I guess they are desperate for every point possible. With that said, abuses is not the way to solve disputes. Solve them on the track...not the team radio.

    1. I totally agree with you. This kinds of disputes if not kept to the track and solved on the track, will go to personal insults. And certaily not a good sporting atmosphere. And thanks for commenting and sharing your view.
