4 Tips to play F1 Official Game By Codemasters (Noobs Edition)

The Britain-based game company Codemasters releases the official Formula 1 game. This is the game that comes at the end of the season, mid-season or the start of the season depending on the condition of the popularity of the races and the championship. If the championship is interesting then the game is released at the end of the season.

So you just became a Formula 1 fan and wanted to play the Formula 1 game. The graphics of the gameplay trailer was so good that it became a kind of a pursuit to get the game. You first try to get it on the Torrent sites, or through a friend who already has it.

You finally manage to get the game. You open the game, you go to the 'Grand Prix' mode and try to race. But you suddenly realize that you just let's say suck to be politically correct (just a joke for all political news fans)

You have played the NFS like a boss before, but you could not get a proper race start. "How did that happen? Just impossible". You could do the evasions like a boss and your drift skills were GOD LIKE.
Well, If you feel like this, you are not alone. The game that you are playing is the most complex racing game ever designed in the genre of racing games.

So I am here with 200hrs of F1 2013-2012 Official Codemasters Game experience to help you out with the tips and tricks, and a cheaters guide to the game.

1-Practice Track Monza on Time trial mode.

There is a mode in the F1 2013 and F1 2012 called the 'Time Trial ' mode. Here you just practice the track without a single car to come in your way and to learn the track. 

Why do you choose this track?

The reason you choose this track is that there are a too many long straights and the corners are less and gives a good feel for the car and the handling.

There is something called the breaking distance which is not familiar with the noobs, and they haphazardly break and miscalculate the breaking distance.Here you can understand the concept of the breaking distance.

The concept of the wheel spin is also introduced the two lesmos. 

2-Watch and learn from the pole lap videos.

The style of driving will be different for different people but there is something called the racing line which is fairly constant for all the drivers because it is the least distance accorss the track with that kind of speed and car setup. The racing line can be activated in the settings.

What do we get from these videos?

The videos are available to all on the youtube. These videos by the drivers tell us about the subtle movements in the track that are necessary to set a good lap time.

And is you are a noob it also acts as a placebo. Your mind will be working on the motor control even whien not playing. 

The importance of these videos are that the cars are having the exact dynamics as the grand prix car that is racing on the track. But the suggestion on the gears and the automatic gear settings that are inbuilt in the memory by the game developers are not accurate.So the time at which the geares need to be shifted can be learnt from these videos. 

Because these are the guys that have simulated the car in an actual vind tunnel.

And again remember that you are playing the most complex game in the racing genre.

3-In the beguining don't worry about the car setup

Believe me the art of car setup is considered as the dark science because, getting the right kind of car setup for a perticular car design is considered as the holy grail in the Formula 1.

You get the right car setup and the right kind of driver, this is the winning formula for a championship win.

Why not worry about them?

First reason is that you many not even understand the technical terms used in the window. And frankly speaking even I don't know them now. 

Getting the sense of what kind of driving style is best for you, will give you the right idea about the throttle settings, and the wheel settings.

Now, get the feel of the car.

4-Don't get discouraged, practice.

It is easy to get discouraged in this game, but if you have the true passion for the sport then you will keep comming back at it. And every time you come to play this game try and tweak some things, try something new. Sometims change the difficulty, sometimes change the team, see what is there in the championship mode etc. It is a game that has enormous capabilities.
