Did you know that the last six Grand Prix at Monza had been won from pole, but Nico Rosberg broke the streak to win the GP from 2nd position?. The championship leader who had a massive lead over his teammate now is reduced to just 2 points.

Hamilton radios this message to the engineering team at the Mercedes garage. The most amazing part of this message is the fact that the drivers now realise that the pressure on the engineers is also as intense as on the drivers to perform. Although, after the race in the press conference he admitted that he followed the normal routine to a tee.
There were several people who had a lot to gain at the 'Temple of Speed'. It turns out that Rosberg wasn't the only one to win.
Just a food for thought, have you noticed that once in any race if Nico gets the lead over Hamilton and during the mid-race if the gap is more than 20 seconds then he always managed to win the race. Unless there was any mechanical problem, gearbox issue or the breaks just are not working.
Well, all the Hamilton fans will clearly be anxious and would be biting their nails. At least it is good for the sport and for the company. Every year the winners are almost fixed and the team that has got the best engine always wins the championship and the races in the entire calendar.
Looking at the current trends in the sport all the teams are not having an equal advantage. The rule changes, whenever they are made always seem to favour only one team and the whole of the participating teams. Did you remember, that in the podium we used to see different drivers and not just one?
Now, coming back to the race the best move that made the Red Bull's smiling assassin look even more deadly was the move at the Turn 1 on Bottas in the closing stages of the race. Breathtakingly late, judged to perfection, it was the move of the afternoon and earned Ricciardo the fifth place he had coveted.
Also, new development for Pirelli
Tuesday saw Mercedes get their first chance to try out the wider tyre size that will feature on all the Formula one cars next season. The team were beginning a three-day test with Pirelli as part of the Italian Marque's tyre development program for 2017.
