Rosberg Snatches Pole on the death!

Hungary, The track well known for its hills and its turns which causes even the great cars with the smartest aero to loose the back end and crash the barriers. It was no different this time in the qualifiers. Even the greats had lost control of the cars in the crucial moments, and crashed the car hard in the barriers. The track is having a lot of slow corners which rise up the hill. any over stear on this corners means certain spin.

It stared Wet and ended almost dry...

After a lot of delayed stops and a lot of red flags the qualifiers seemed to loose all the excitement till the Q2 session. But as soon as the track became dry at the start of the Q3. The excitement began to rise. The Ultrasoft tyres were on and the cars were ready to go.

It all comes down to how well the forcasting is done in the team. This shows how important is the weather news is in such places where the weather can change like the tides. The weather forcasts proved spot on as it began to rain shortly after one o'clock, bu those which predicted sun and a dry road by the time qualifying was due to start at two proved optimistic in the extreme. The track was wet, and the rain was still falling when the magic hour came.

Fact File: The weather forcasting technique developed in the F1 is actually used in the real world to predict the weather. So the next time you think that F1 Motorspot is a bunch of dudes on a hot car going endlessly on a circular track, Think of the time it saved you from an unexpected weather change on your way to the work place.

Tough Luck for Hamilton Literally...Rosberg cashes in

In the final laps of the Q3 sessions Hamilton seemed to own the times. The times set by the British seemed to be quickest out there. 1m 20.018s which was fast compared to the times the German managed to put 1m 20.201s.. But unfortunately the British was stoped from setting the fastest last lap due to the Yellow flags. The spaniard Fernando Alonso had just spun on the hill and Hamilton arrived at the point and the Yellow flags were waved making him back off, But luckly Rosberg came just after the Yellow Flags were cleared and Was able to set the times faster than Hamilton. 1m 19.965s
This mere hundreadth of a second advantage gave him the pole.

As you can see the difference is so small between the two silver arrows.
It reminds me of Schumacher when he used to set the times like this.

But it is important to remember these are qualifiers results and the outcomes in the race will be different as the stratagy and the car setup will be different. The fuel conservation mode will be used.

IF Hamilton is the fastest naturally, it will be no surprise to see him do the undercut and win the race.

I PREDICT ON MY EXPERIENCE OF MONITORING F1, ON THESE SLOW TRACKS THE TWO CONTACTING IS 78% PROBABILITY.

THERE COULD BE A FIRST LAP COLLISION LIKE IN SPAIN. SO BE PREPARED FOR THAT.

Here is a cute fact that happened,

The Stewards also investigaed Nico Rosberg over the alleged speeding under yellow flags during his pole position lap. However, the german was exonerated after the telemetry domonstraed that he had significantly reduced his speed in the yellow flag zone.

So it is going to be a close race and an exciting one. so Watch on
